Say Their Names
By Gene Pritsker
For bass trombone, 2 electric guitars, keys, bass, drums

performed by
Dave Taylor - bass trombone
Gene Pritsker - guitars/keys
Jose Moura - bass
Ehab Omar - drums

Mastered by Ehab Omar

'Say Their Names' is originally a song I wrote on a poem by Joseph Brodsky, which in itself was inspired by a drum track that Ehab Omar sent me. I took the music of the song, put it to a faster tempo, and arranged the voice for bass trombone. In keeping with my 'Protest' album theme, I took this opportunity to highlight the names of those killed in America by systematic racist practices of our police departments. Let's not forget these people's names, they are important.
